Emotional awareness is essentially being able to identify the emotions you’re experiencing at any given time. You first need to be as sure as possible of what you’re feeling.
You recognize your own emotions and how they affect your thoughts and behavior. You know your strengths and weaknesses, and have self-confidence.
What’s more important in determining life success—book smarts or street smarts? This question gets at the heart of an important debate.
